Free pets vs Supporter Pack pets

The cleanest way to explain Task Bar Hero pets is to separate free monster-kill pets from Supporter Pack pets. Free pets give focused bonuses and require 5,000 kills of a named monster. Supporter Pack pets are listed as DLC unlocks, and Dragon's visible bonus spread is much broader than the free pet spread.

That does not mean a new guide should tell every player to buy the pack. Search visitors need to know what changes if they already own it, what they can chase without it, and which free pet remains useful for a specific farming goal. Watcher can still be the clearer gold answer if the player is staying free-to-play; Bat can still be the natural early pet because it connects EXP and common chest value.

How to plan a 5,000 kill farm

The 5,000 kill requirement is the part players can plan around. The listed per-run values make the route feel simple, but real farming depends on clear speed, death rate, and whether the stage also gives useful account progress. A route with better monster count can still be worse if the party clears it too slowly.

For each pet, test the top listed route for a fixed time window and compare it with the backup route. Record kills if visible, clear time, deaths, and whether the run produced useful EXP, gold, materials, or gear. This gives the site a path to upgrade from source-backed route candidates into original testing later.

Source conflicts and verification notes

The current pet data is strong enough for a guide, but it is not official patch documentation. The biggest visible conflict is Burning Skeleton: the text description says Fire Spirit, while the unlock monster key resolves to Fire Elemental. The page should keep the unlock row tied to Fire Elemental and explain the mismatch instead of hiding it.

The next manual checks are equip behavior, passive behavior, stacking, exact DLC entitlement behavior, and whether the listed per-run numbers match live gameplay after patches. Those checks matter because a pet guide can mislead players quickly if it turns a database row into a meta claim without testing.

• Verify whether only one pet can be active or whether owned pet bonuses apply passively.
• Verify whether Supporter Pack pets apply immediately after purchase or require another in-game step.

Update policy

This page should update when the owner verifies pet behavior in-game, captures original screenshots, or sees an official patch note that changes pets, DLC, monsters, stages, or drop bonuses. Until then, the guide should keep using confidence notes and source notes.

A later Pets Tier List page should wait until there is enough evidence for actual ranking criteria. The current Pets Guide already covers the low-hanging search intent without pretending to be a full pet wiki or a final meta list.
